Aisha Hinds is an American actress best famous for her role in the television shows The Shield and True Blood. Her versatility has been demonstrated on TV in shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 8-7, and Under the Dome since she first made an appearance acting in 2003. The year 2005 was the year she gained attention first for her performance as Anna in Assault on Precinct 13 However, it was her performance in the role of Fannie Lou (a feminist activist for women's rights) in the biographical All the Way film that earned her the attention of an actor. Hind was also praised for her portrayal of Harriet Tubman in WGN America's time-travel television drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the series to a third season. Hind is currently filming the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters. It is scheduled to release around the middle of 2019.
