Aisha Hinds is an American actress best famous for her role in the television shows The Shield and True Blood. Her versatility has been demonstrated on TV in shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 8-7, and Under the Dome since she first made an appearance acting in 2003. The year 2005 was the year she gained attention first for her performance as Anna in Assault on Precinct 13 However, it was her performance in the role of Fannie Lou (a feminist activist for women's rights) in the biographical All the Way film that earned her the attention of an actor. Hind was also praised for her portrayal of Harriet Tubman in WGN America's time-travel television drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the series to a third season. Hind is currently filming the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters. It is scheduled to release around the middle of 2019. Her father Krishnaraj, who was an Army scientist who died on March 18, 2017, and mother Vrinda are both homemakers. Aditya Rao is employed in merchant navy engineering, is her older sibling. His brother wrote and produced Dil Ka Rishta, along with his mother. Arya Vidya Mandir School was her high school located in Mumbai after moving to Mumbai along with her parents. Jai Hind College in Mumbai is where she completed her secondary schooling in one year, before she was admitted to D.G. Ruparel College Matunga, where she was able to score a 90 percent for her H.S.C. exams. She took classical music classes and dance for 5 years in her teens. Her most loved study was zoology. Bachchan was studying architecture at the time she won the title of Miss World in 1994. The title catapulted her into modeling's rapid lane. Her lucrative jobs for PepsiCo Inc. & Vogue magazine and her spokesmodel agreement to L'Oreal Paris were all rewarded in 2003. With praised roles such as Iruvar (1997), and Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (1997), her acting career was off an excellent start. Bachchan's New Bollywood was boosted by the fact that both of these films were a departure from the typical Bollywood format. Bachchan became the queen of Bollywood by her heartbreaking performance as Paro in the film Devdas. Following that she received great acclaim for her portrayal as Chokher Bali (2003) which is a dramatic thriller that was based on Rabindranath Tagore's book. The same year, she was an the only Indian actress to serve on the Cannes Film Festival jury. Bachchan was in Bride and Prejudice, a dance and musical adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice by Gurinderchadha. The beauty and star power of Bachchan was brought to the very first English-language major film. Before releasing Provoked:A True Story 2006 in English, she went back to Bollywood for a role in Dhoom: 2 (2006 smash hit). In April 2007, she was married to Abhishek Bachchan, a regular co-star and the daughter of Bollywood legendary Amitabh Bachchan in a marriage which brought together two of the most powerful Indian actors.
